Swimming in the Red Sea

Winter slides into summer, the water is warmer and I enjoy watching the fish glide and search for food only metres from the beach, and diving into the deeper blue.

Thank you so much for these (where were they taken?), lovely to see them on a grey, freezing UK February day (thank goodness I have my ticket for next month already …). Look forward to more on what you’ve been up to soon, trust all is going OK. x

Liz, these were taken off a small beach at the base of the cliff of Ras Um El Sid (Hadaba). It is one of several public beaches just a short walk from the Old Market. By the time you get here the water will be warmer and conditions even better.

Thanks, Siwasoul1. Hadaba sounds interesting. I trust Sharm environs are still safe, despite recent news … I’ll be based in Dahab, anyway. Hope to hear more of your news before too long.
